The following procedure should be followed to apply for land at the Unilag Housing State

Register on this site. You can register here

2.

Check for the pricing category that applies to you here

3.

If you are going to pay by instalment check for the pricing here

4.

Pay the right amount to the bank you intend to use for paying for the land

5.

If you are paying by installment, the same bank must be used in paying for all the installments

6.

Your application will be rejected if you pay the wrong amount to the bank

7.

Scan a copy of your teller.

8.

Log in to the website with your username and password. Click here for the Application Form.

 9.

If your application is successful, you will be contacted.

Current Serving Staff of the University of Lagos

Pay at standard rate.

Can pay in FIVE instalments.

First Instalment: ₦200,000

Subsequent Instalments

125,000 per month for 4 consecutive months following the month of first instalment.

₦62,500 per month for a period of 12 months.

B

Retired Staff of the University of Lagos and Staff of the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi-Araba

Pay at the standard rate.

Can pay in THREE instalments

First Instalment: ₦250,000

Subsequent Instalments

225,000 per month for 2 consecutive months following the month of first instalment.

₦62,500 per month for a period of 12 months.

C

Students of the University of Lagos. University of Lagos Alumni

Pay at the standard rate.

Full payment:

₦700,000

₦66,000 per month for a period of 12 months.

D

Staff of the following Banks Branches Operating on Unilag Campuses - UBA, Ecobank, First Bank Wema, Access Bank, Union Bank

Pay at the standard rate

Full payment:

₦700,000

₦66,000  per month for a period of 12 months.

SCHEME2

Instalment payment is restricted for scheme 2 as limited plots are available. The full amount must be made on application. However, special concessions can be granted in some cases to some individuals to pay in two consecutive months instalments at the rate of 450,000 per month.

Schemes

The estate is divided into different schemes. We currently have two schemes

 

SCHEME 1

This is a pioneer scheme of the estate and will be the biggest scheme.

The price plot in scheme 1 is currently ₦700,000

 

 SCHEME 2

This is a more luxurious scheme. Scheme 2 is currently located opposite to Scheme 1.

The current price per plot in Scheme 2 is ₦850,000

 

EXPECTED STANDARD HOUSES

You can build your country home in thie estate. However, subscribers must build a standard modern home in the estate. The following designs provide a guide as to the kind of standard houses expected in the estate. Subscribers customised design must be approved before commencement of construction.

■    All applications will be thoroughly screened before any applicant can be allotted land.
■    Allocation of land in the estate is at the sole discretion of the allocation committee
■    Each land allottee will be involved in the development of the estate
■    Land allottees must build their homes subject to a minimum standard of the estate
■    From time to time, land allottees might be required to make contributions especially as to the maintenance and development of common facilities on the estate

SHORT DIRECTION

If you are driving from Lagos along Lagos-Ibadan expressway, turn back to Lagos at the next  available turning after Deeper Life. As you are driving to Lagos, turn right at the the turning on the right  just before NASFAT, (beside a petrol filling station). The driving to the Land will take you about 8-10 minutes from the express.
